I appreciate the share. I think one point I intended to make, is that from cultural tension comes insight. For many folks, their continental trip is exactly what their spirit needed.

But, that’s not everyone’s experience, nor should it be. I’d theorize that the unilateral cultural experience of Botswana added to my feelings of displacement; in many ways, the Motswana knows their cultural identity. It meant the differences were made so much more plain.
